If you are looking to buy a home, on of your first steps should be to know how much of a down payment will put on the home. Here is an overview of some programs:
Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA) Down Payment Assistance: The CHFA down payment grant may be offered to to qualified borrowers in Colorado who meet specific income criteria and are buying a home up to a specific price limit. With the CHFA DPA Grant, you never have to pay it back. So, on a $300,000 home, that's $9,000 that is yours to help facilitate the purchase a home.(click to visit site)

City of Aurora
https://www.auroragov.org provides up to $10,000 for eligible first-time homebuyers.
American Dream Down-payment Assistance Initiative (ADDI): The ADDI may provide to as much as $200 million every year in Colorado and nationwide for down-payment assistance. Eligibility is restricted to first-time home buyers.
CHAC - offers low interest rate loans for low and moderate income for first time home buyers towards th down payment and closing costs throughout Colorado. Contact them at www.chaconline.org or 303.572.9445
